Cementone Colours for Cement is lightfast & disperses easily into the dry mix. It will not affect the strength
of the finished mixture, if used as directed.
Mix Ratios: Gauge colour by weight, never volume. In normal use a good depth of colour will be achieved by
the ratio 1 part Colour to 20 parts cement by weight e.g. 1.25kg Colour to 25kg cement. For lighter shades
reduce the weight of Cementone Colours for cement. For darker shades increase the weight of Cementone
Colours for cement. The ratio should never exceed 1 part Colour to 10 parts cement by weight e.g. 2.5kg
Colour to 25kg cement.
Colour Consistency: The exact colour achieved will depend on the grade & colour of sand, cement &
aggregate used. To ensure colour consistency use the same grades & weights of ingredients for the whole
project. The same quality of gauging water must be added to each batch. It is recommended that the same
batch number of Cementone Colours for Cement is used per application. If more than one batch number of
Cementone Colours for Cement is used, mix product together before use for consistent colour matching. If
colour matching, mix a smalltrial batch & allow to dry before assessing the colour. Once the desired colour
has been obtained use the same quantity/mix design for all batches.
Application: Add Colour direct to the dry cement. Mix thoroughly with the dry cement, sand & aggregate to
ensure even dispersion of Colour. Add gauging water. Do not use with lime based mixes.
Cleaning: Clean tools & equipment immediately after use with water. Storage: Up to 2 years in cool, dry
conditions in the temperature range +5 degrees Celsius to +25 degrees Celsius.
